HONG-KONG WINE FESTIVAL 30.10.2010

The Wine Merchants of Bordeaux will present their brand wines for degustation at the Hong-Kong Wine Festival which will be held in Hong-Kong from October 30th till November 1st 2010.

This first edition of the Festival is similar to the Bordeaux Wine Festival which will take place at the end of June in Bordeaux.

BORDEAUX WINE FESTIVAL : JUNE 2010

Bordeaux Wine merchants, locally referred to as négociants, will be taking an active part in this major event open to public.

This festival will be located right in the city center, along the Quais de Bordeaux, and will last from Thursday 24th June 2010 till Sunday 27th June 2010.

Our Federation will present tastings of brand wines from the Trade throughout the festival.  Our stand is called Les Grandes Marques des Maisons de Bordeaux.

The  Wine Merchant's Directory (Annuaire des Négociants) has been issued in June 2009 just in time for Vinexpo.

Georges HAUSHALTER, Manager of COMPAGNIE MEDOCAINE DES GRANDS CRUS in Bordeaux, is President of the Fédération des Syndicats du Commerce en Gros des Vins & Spiritueux de Bordeaux & de la Gironde located at 1 Cours du XXX Juillet in Bordeaux (tel. +33 (0) 556 002 290) since January 1st, 2009.

This Federation consolidates two regional Associations of Wine Traders : le Syndicat du Commerce en Gros des Vins & Spiritueux du Libournais (President: Gérard MILHADE) and, in Bordeaux, the Union des Maisons de Bordeaux (President: Georges HAUSHALTER).

BORDEAUX FETE LE VIN - EDITION 2010

La dernière édition de cette manifestation grand public s'est tenue en 2008 sur les quais de Bordeaux.

Les Négociants étaient présents sur un pavillon intitulé LES GRANDES MARQUES DES MAISONS DE BORDEAUX sur lequel ils présentaient leurs vins de marque à la dégustation dans les différentes couleurs et appellations de Bordeaux, y compris le Crémant de Bordeaux. La manifestation, à l'heure de la RUSSIE (Saint Petersbourg, ville jumelée avec Bordeaux), a attiré de nombreux visiteurs étrangers. Des ateliers de dégustations étaient mis en place pour un public très nombreux venu assister aux concerts et feux d'artifice organisés à cette occasion.

La prochaine édition de BORDEAUX FETE LE VIN aura lieu du 24 au 27 juin 2010 et la ville partenaire sera QUEBEC. Le stand des Négociants sera situé sur les quais devant la place de la Bourse.
