BORDEAUX WINE FESTIVAL : JUNE 2008
Bordeaux Wine merchants, locally referred to as négociants, will be taking an active part in this major event open to public.
This festival will be located right in the city center, on the Square des Quinconces, and will last 4 days, from Thursday till Sundayon June 2008.
Our Federation will present tastings of brand wines from the Trade throughout the festival.

Bordeaux Wine Merchant's Directory 2007/2008
The Wine Merchant's Directory (Annuaire des Négociants) has been issued in June 2007 just in time for Vinexpo.
This useful booklet contains the name and particulars of the Wine Traders, members of UNION DES MAISONS DE BORDEAUX.
It give full particulars on the organization chart of each company, the main figures, a list of chateaux owned by the Trader or on exclusive distribution...
It is available from our Union des Maisons de Bordeaux offices, 1, cours du XXX-Juillet in Bordeaux (1st floor).

ALLAN SICHEL, THE FEDERATION DU NEGOCE'S NEW PRESIDENT
On 1st June 2004, Allan Sichel, CEO of Sichel in Bordeaux, replaced Christian Delpeuch (of Ginestet) as President of the Fédération des Syndicats du Commerce en Gros des Vins & Spiritueux de Bordeaux & de la Gironde located at 1 Cours du XXX Juillet in Bordeaux (tel. +33 (0) 556 002 290). This federation consolidates two regional trade associations: le Syndicat du Commerce en Gros des Vins & Spiritueux du Libournais (President: Michel Querre) and, in Bordeaux, the Union des Maisons de Bordeaux (President: Allan Sichel). Christian Delpeuch is, as of 12th July 2004, the new Président of the Conseil Interprofessionnel du Vin de Bordeaux (CIVB or Bordeaux Wine Council).
